MWC Barcelona 2025 Preview
MWC returns to Barcelona for its 19th edition, making it the mobile centre of the world from March 3-6.
While these are the official days of the show itself, there are other numerous events and briefings taking place during the prior weekend.
It remains one of the few must-attend events of the calendar. There are plentiful and meaningful discussions representing a key networking opportunity for all. However, do not expect significant announcements or game changing technology, as these tend to happen at other bigger global tech events. Hence why we have seen the relevance of the show shift over the last few years.
I will be on the ground, taking a closer look at the main telco keynotes, attending briefings, seeing clients and walking the showfloor. This piece looks at some of the main themes that will dominate next week’s MWC 2025.
