CES 2025: Key Takeaways/Themes
This latest 2025 edition took place at its customary home in Las Vegas on 7-10 January and attracted over 141,000 attendees.
The event represents a great platform for all companies to make a splash given the world is watching. Without fail, every year the weird and crazy tech unleased at CES always grabs as much airtime as the coolest and most meaningful products.
Ultimately, most products never make it onto the shelves, but you would like to believe the rationale for launching was sound, based upon need and revenue opportunity. While some, might seem odd and overpriced, there are users who are willing to pay for the convenience and want to have it with the fear of missing out.
In fact, we will see more given that true innovation is becoming increasingly hard to achieve. This will drive even wackier ideas for products that supposedly improve our daily lives.
Therefore, for this and other very good reasons, providing a comprehensive list of key trends and takeaways is by no means simple. This piece brings together a few areas that did stand out based upon events, sessions attended, products seen and discussions from the show floor.
