Unsurprising, Apple’s WWDC (World Wide Developer’s Conference) did not see any new hardware updates. It proved to be another action-packed event with Apple delivering a slew of new features for its platforms. There was a lot to unpack in the keynote which touched upon the main areas.

A timely and pivotal event for the company considering recent developments on tariffs and the battle for AI supremacy. While all attention in the run up to the event was focussed on Apple Intelligence, Siri and other features, its relentless focus on ease of use and seamless interaction across all Apple devices should remain its top priority. And this was certainly the case.

Also and rightly so, Apple did not address the elephant in the room (tariffs), but it was firmly on everyone’s minds. More so with the eagerly awaited new iPhone later in the year and how it will impact future sales. Users are not buying into smartphones due to AI; it is not a sought-after feature (for now).
